A short write up on the achievement of KV No.1, AFS, Darbhanga for 2008-09.
A. Academics:-
i. Vidyalaya achieved 94 % overall result of internal examination.
ii. 100 % result in CBSE for class-XII (1st batch) with all of them scoring more than and the highest score is 89.2 %.
iii. 97.67 % result in CBSE for class X with highest score 94.5 %.
iv. Four passed out students of this first batch of Class XII got selection in different professional colleges.
B. Sports:-
i. Apart from the Cluster and Regional level competition in which more than 100 students participated and got position, 02 of them reached to the KVS National Level in Volleyball competition and 01 in Athletics.
ii. Bharat Scout & Guide and Cub & Bulbul
A full length Programme drafted by R.O, Patna for the entire academic session 2008-09 got executed with specific achievement in the celebration of cluster level Cub & Bulbul ustav in which 11 KVs of this cluster participated and KV NO.1,AFS Darbhanga bagged first position in all the events.
C. Co-Curricular activities (CCA)
A well planed calendar of activities such as recitation, declamation, discussion, debate, speech, calligraphy, song and dance was conducted through out the session. More than five hundred prizes given away to the children.
C. Observance of days and major celebration:-
As the schedule given by the Regional office, Patna important days like Earth Day, Children Day, Human Right Day, Science Day, Teachers Day, and Women’s Day were observed with due fervour and gaiety.
Annul Sports Day and Annual Day of Vidyalaya were celebrated in colourful way on due dates.
